Features

• Sign in to an access gateway in your browser. lager login <url> --web opens the sign-in page of the auth server in your browser. You sign in there and approve the request, and the CLI never asks for a password. This is the only way to sign in for an account that uses single sign-on (SSO) and has no password. See Signing in with a browser.
• Sign in from a computer with no browser. lager login <url> --no-browser shows a link and waits. Open the link on any computer, approve the request, and paste the code that the page shows into the terminal. Use it on a computer that you connect to over SSH.

Known Limitations

• Browser sign-in needs an auth server that supports it. A server without it makes lager login --web fail with does not support browser sign-in. Sign in with a password on that server. The HTTP contract for a server is in section 3.4 of docs/reference/gateway-auth-contract.md.
