Upgrade Notes

Update your boxes with the new CLI. lager update now installs BlueZ on the box host when it is missing, so lager ble and lager blufi work on a box running Ubuntu Server. That step runs from the CLI, so upgrade the CLI first, then run lager update --box <box-name>. It needs no password.
The next lager install on each box asks for the sudo password once. The install’s privileged session now also installs BlueZ, so its fingerprint changed.
DebugNet.flash() and DebugNet.erase() can now raise on J-Link. They raise RuntimeError when J-Link did nothing, as they already did on OpenOCD. A script that treated the returned output as success will now stop at the real failure.
DebugNet.connect(halt=True) raises ValueError on a J-Link net. J-Link has no halt-on-connect, and the argument was ignored. Attach a halt-first .JLinkScript with connect(script=...) instead.

Read-only commands run on a box that someone else has locked. lager nets, nets show, nets show-script, lager hello, lager binaries list, lager debug <net> health and the net listings of each command group print one note naming the holder and continue, for a user lock and a CI lock. Every other command still refuses. See the read-only list on the Box Locking page.

BLE and BluFi failed on a box running Ubuntu Server. The box host had no BlueZ, and every lager ble and lager blufi command failed with The name org.bluez was not provided by any .service files. lager install and lager update now install BlueZ and enable bluetooth.service.
lager ble and lager blufi now say how to fix a box host without BlueZ, instead of printing the raw D-Bus error.
lager nets ignored the box lock for an IP address and the default box. Only a saved box name was checked, so nets delete, rename, add-all, set-script and the other changing subcommands ran under another holder’s lock.
lager debug <net> flash printed Flashed! on a J-Link read-back compare failure. It now fails on Verification failed @ address ... and ERROR: Verify failed.. On a DA1469x, whose cached compare can report a false failure, only the box’s uncached read-back (LAGER_DA1469_UNCACHED_VERIFY=1) fails it (issue #617).
A lager nets change did not reach the next lager debug command. set-script, remove-script, add, rename, delete and the Net Manager now drop the CLI’s cached debug nets for the box, so flash and erase no longer send the old J-Link script for up to five minutes.
A DebugNet.connect() OpenOCD config override did not last until disconnect(). A relaunch with force=True, or the self-heal’s reconnect, used the net’s own cfg instead.
