One of the main ways that Lager differs from a traditional embedded systems test bench is that Lager is net-centric vs tool-centric. What this means is that instead of the tool, e.g. power supply, oscilloscope, debugger etc. being the focus, nets are. During setup each net inherits specific properties based on the users input to the Nets Form. A user can then call methods on a given net to e.g. measure its voltage, view its waveform, or set it high or low depending on its Net Types.
