# Version 0.53.1

> October 6, 2026

## Bug Fixes

* **`lager instruments` did not list a J-Link with an unlisted USB product ID.** The Lager Box
knew only five SEGGER product IDs, so it skipped other probes. An example is the on-board
J-Link OB of a development kit. `lager nets tui` and `lager nets add` did not offer the probe
either. The box now lists every USB device with vendor ID `0x1366` as a `debug` instrument. A
probe of a known model shows its model name, for example `J-Link_OB_2VCOM` for product ID
`1051`. Any other probe shows as `J-Link`, and its address keeps the real product ID. The fix
is in the Lager Box code, so run `lager update` on each box to get it.

## Known Limitations

* **An on-board J-Link OB does not offer its serial ports as `uart` channels.** Its
`/dev/ttyACM*` ports do not appear in `lager instruments`.
